HighTech Finishing Receives ISO9001/AS9100 Certification With 'Zero Non-Conformances'

Rare First-Pass Approval Reflects Company's Quality Commitment

HighTech Finishing, the leading supplier of decorative metal plating for the aviation industry, received the prestigious ISO9001/AS9100 quality control certification on its first application, receiving a rare unconditional issuance of certificate with no non-conformances, the company announced today.

ISO's rigorous evaluation includes reviewing an organization's production, inspection, servicing and customer satisfaction processes. HighTech complied with all ISO9001/ AS9100 requirements on its first attempt and not a single non-conformance was identified during the three-day audit.

"According to our ISO auditing team, they have never before recommended to the registrar issuing a certificate without conditions," said Lee Whitley, HighTech Finishing Executive Vice President and General Manager. "We are very proud of our non-conformance-free report. This shows that HighTech has been running as an ISO9001 quality manufacturer even without the certification. For us, it's just business as usual."

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a worldwide industrial association that provides the criteria, testing and maintenance procedures for high quality manufacturing. The Aerospace Standard (AS) designation provides specific criteria for aviation and aerospace-related companies.
