HighTech Finishing follows a comprehensive 50-step decorative plating process to ensure the highest quality production, finish, and delivery of your aviation interior product.

Our process includes 13 cleaning and polishing steps, 17 quality control (Q.C.) checkpoints, and additional steps custom to each part type, material quality, or other factors included in your order.

11. Belt polish (4 steps) – 180, 240, 320, 400

12. Grease polish

13. Sisal polish

14. Airway polish

15. Stitch polish

16. Color polish

18. Polish – specialty tools

20. Compound removal parts cleaning

21. Q.A. inspect – visual

22. Wire/rack for preliminary base plating

23. Prepare part by metal type

24. Acid copper base plating

25. Q.A. inspect – visual

26. Stitch polish/hand sand – acid copper plating

28. Compound removal parts cleaning

30. Wire/rack for nickel base plating

31. Bright nickel base plating

33. Stitch/color polish nickel base plating
